Morning sightseeing with a professional London guide includes all the famous landmarks: Royal Albert Hall, Kensington Palace and the area’s splendid museums, Knightsbridge with Harrods, the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben beside the River Thames, Westminster Abbey and ST. PAUL’S
CATHEDRAL.

Day 4 London-Brussels, Belgium-Amsterdam, Holland. 
Meet your tour director and traveling companions and transfer to London’s Waterloo International Station to board the ultra-modern Eurostar train to Brussels, Belgium. From here a comfortable drive will bring you to Amsterdam, Holland’s 700-year-old capital. After a welcome drink at the hotel, you may want to join your tour director for an optional Dutch dinner with local specialties. (Full

Day 5 Amsterdam-Rhineland, Germany.
An included canal cruise aboard a glass-roofed launch is the best way to get a good impression of how this city was built and how much still remains of the Golden Age. Drive past the Dutch region best known as the locale of A Bridge Too Far near Arnhem to Germany. In Cologne visit the awesome
twin-spired GOTHIC CATHEDRAL, and then the afternoon’s highlight: a cruise on the romantic Rhine, past castle-crested cliffs, terraced
vineyards, and trim, half-timbered towns. (Buffet Breakfast and Dinner )

Day 6 Rhineland-Lucerne,
Switzerland
First stop this morning is in Heidelberg, to take pictures of the famous red-walled ruins of Heidelberg Castle. Then on through the lush valleys and pine-clad hills of the Black Forest, renowned for its cuckoo clocks. On the Swiss border stop at the thundering RHINE FALLS, then continue to
picture-book Lucerne. (Buffet Breakfast and Dinner )
Day 7
Lucerne
In the morning a walking tour is the best way to discover the charm of this city. Admire Thorwaldsen’s LION MONUMENT, the ornate patrician houses of the walled Old Town, and cross the famous covered WOODEN BRIDGE to the Jesuit Church. Balance of the day is at leisure to shop for Swiss watches and choose from our optional activities: climb a mountain by cable car; take a cruise on the fjord-like lake or sign up for a folklore party with yodeling and alphorn
blowing for a first-hand impression of Alpine merrymaking. (Buffet Breakfast)
Day 8 Lucerne-Paris,
France
Cross the Swiss border near Basle and enjoy a comfortable drive through the Burgundy wine area and past Fontainebleau Forest to Paris. (Buffet Breakfast)

Paris

Discover the world capital of chic and style with a local expert and admire its most famous sights: the
Opéra, Arc de Triomphe, Champs-Elysées, Notre Dame Cathedral, and more... For a bird’s eye view take the elevator to the second floor of Paris’ most famous landmark, the EIFFEL TOWER. An optional excursion to the lavish Baroque Palace of Versailles is available. Tonight, a lively cabaret show might just be the ticket. (Buffet Breakfast)

Your homebound flight from Paris arrives the same day. (Buffet Breakfast).
